Need for Speed

Image
Need  for Speed     Need for Speed, starring Aaron Paul, is a car enthusiast movie with tons of street racing and running from the police. I liked this movie a lot and would have to put it in my top five of all time. I am a huge car enthusiast so this movie was appealing to me. This car movie is especially different from the others because it is not generic like Fast and Furious where there are just guns, explosion, and non stop action. Need for Speed is purely racing. Aside from the exotic hyper cars they obtained for their movies, I also thought the camera work during the racing scenes were shot very well. There were several angles that were used and I loved the angle that was at eye level with the car. This movie was fabulous and I am excited to watch the second one.

The Babysitter

Image
The Babysitter     A babysitter and a boy who have known each other for a while have an unexpected turn of events that turns into a real life nightmare. Bee, played by Samara Weaving babysits Cole, played by Judah Lewis and they have a great time like they always do. This time was different. Bee is part of a satanic cult and was using Cole to complete the ritual. It is all up to Cole to defend himself and survive until his parents return home. I enjoyed this movie a lot for a few reasons. I thought that the basic plot of the movie was really good. The Babysitter was a very bloody film but it was also hilarious. I personally liked Max, the high school football quarterback. This movie is great for people who do not enjoy watching scary, demented horror movies but want to watch something that is a little more gruesome than normal action movies. I would definitely watch this movie again and I would recommend it to others.

Scream VI

Scream VI     The infamous masked killer comes back for round six in the city of New York. Filled with a compelling movie, Ghostface is relentless to slice up the Carpenter sisters along with everyone who gets in his way. Scream VI was arguably the best sequel in the Scream franchise. I really enjoyed watching this movie. I have not watched many horror movies but the Scream movies are the exception. These movies are filled with action and they are not that scary. I really enjoyed the new energy that this film brought to the franchise. The Ghostface in Scream VI was much more brutal than the Ghostface's in past movies. This movie also had the intense scenes where you know a jump scare is coming and there are several fake outs with certain camera angles that make it even more scary. Scream VI also has a really good rack focus shot in the bodega scene. I think that the camera work is what makes these movies so entertaining to watch. i would watch this movie again without hesitation.
