American Assassin

    This movie was very good. The movie meets my criteria of what I liked to watch. The movie starts out with a shooting by terrorists on a beach. This is a really well made scene because it felt realistic. There are several terrorists with guns shooting people while they are running away. During camera shooting, we see bodies just falling constantly. This scene was down low and in the POV of the victims which added to the intensity of the scene. In this scene, Mitch was looking frantically for his girlfriend when we see her get shot and killed. This drives the plot for the rest of the movie.

    After Mitch's girlfriend is killed, he seeks revenge like all main characters in these movies do. This movie portrays human emotions very well and how we deal with grief. We see mitch throwing knives at a picture of the terrorist leader and shooting guns at targets. He also is doing MMA combat. The amount of time and dedication he puts to training so he can kill all the terrorists is a great example of how much people care for loved ones. We also see in a sequence later during training, he has a vest and a fake gun with googles on. This is a simulation test and when he sees the terrorist, he constantly shoots completely ignoring the pain from the vest shock. He also sees a video of his girlfriend getting shot and he tries to attack his teacher. These also shows the strength of human emotions.

This movie was a really good and action filled movie. It was not dull where nothing happens for 45 minutes. i would recommend this movie to others.
