I personally despised this film. The film is about a woman named Lina who marries a man named Johnnie and she later has a fear that he is going to kill her for her money. I didn't like this film because older movies have slow plot development and they are not filled with constant action like modern movies are. These kind of movies do not appeal to what I like to watch. The ending was such a let down too which made me 100% sure that I did not enjoy the movie. The movie was also in black and white which makes me want to scream. I would not recommend this movie to a peer of mine to watch for entertainment.

    I'm not saying Suspicion is great. But don't dismiss old things or black-and-white things. There is a lot of glorious stuff out there.

  Puss in Boots: The Last Wish     I liked this movie a lot more than I thought I would. When I was younger, I loved the original puss in boots movie. I watched is so many times. I saw the trailer for this movie in a theater a while back and wasn't very interested in watching it since I was a lot older. I recently found it on my recommended page on Netflix and decided to give it a shot. I just want to say that this movie brought back so many childhood memories. The plot of the movie was amazing and the action was great. I loved Death's character especially his theme song. The idea that Puss's time is constantly running out and Death is always waiting was such a creative idea. I would highly recommend this movie to people regardless if you think you are too old to watch movies made for kids. Some of them are still very entertaining. I wish I watched this in theaters when it was out.

Tag (2/26/24)

  Tag      This movie was awesome. The movie was also based off a true story about a friend group who played a game of tag for 20+ years. The movie was enjoyable to watch since it was not slow. This show was the more entertaining and cinematic version of the tv show ultimate tag.  The ending revealing that Hoagie was going to die soon and that this was the last year to try and tag Jerry for the first time in 30 years made the whole movie have a deeper meaning. This movie is a strong reminder that nothing lasts forever and that we should cherish our friendships and memories. This movie makes me wish I had a friend group like this but it will probably never happen unless I meet some true characters in college. This movie was good and I would recommend it to some people. This movie was not a super action filled movie. It was more of a comedy movie.

Happy Gilmore (5/6/24)

  Happy Gilmore     Happy Gilmore has to be one of the best comedy movies in existence. The storyline of hockey player to golfer was amazing. As funny as the movie was, it also has great messages. The theme of constant failure and the need to adapt and find another solution should be a message everyone takes away from the movie. Happy failed to make the hockey team several years in a row but his powerful shot allowed him to get an amazing career in golf. The movie is a great example about how failure opens up other doors and allows you to learn from your mistakes.     I also find this movie relatable since I play both sports. When Happy starts swearing like a sailor missing the ball, I think about how similar we are. We hit a bad shot and start having a rampage on the course. Happy's attitude due to his hockey career is also very accurate. I have had teammates who get into nonstop fights every single game and get ejected. The movie did a fabulous job with Happy'...
